✅ Happy International Museum Day – May 18th
🔷 We congratulate all lovers of culture, history, and knowledge on International Museum Day. This year’s theme, “Museums: Connecting a Fractured World,” serves as a reminder that museums are more than just exhibits of objects; they are platforms for fostering understanding, learning, and connection between generations and phenomena.
🔹 In line with this, the Tabas UGGp Museum, in collaboration with the Payame Noor University (Tabas Center), intends to host the future-builders of our land to celebrate this occasion.
🔹 To this end, we have organized a special program for elementary school students in both morning and evening sessions, aiming to create a deeper connection with our earth’s heritage through creativity and education:
⏱ Morning: 10:00 AM
⏱ Evening: 7:00 PM
🎨 Painting Workshop: Illustrating the beauties of nature and the earth.
📖 Storytelling: Narrating the wonders of natural history within the world of geological phenomena.
🔬 Discovering the World of Rocks and Fossils: A hands-on workshop observing rocks under microscopes, exploring the hidden structures of nature, and searching for fossils in desert sand.
🔹 Furthermore, to fulfill this year’s theme and provide better access to this scientific and cultural space for everyone, we are pleased to announce that admission to the Tabas UGGp Museum will be free for the general public on this day.
🔹 A museum is a window to awareness and a bridge between a mysterious past and a future built by the capable hands of today’s students. We look forward to your warm presence.
