✅ World Museum Day Report at Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark
🔷 According to the Public Relations Office of Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark, on the occasion of World Museum Day, celebrated under the theme “Museums: Connecting a Divided World,” the museum of Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark welcomed dear students and families from Tabas.
🔹 During this event, the museum transformed into a warm and vibrant space, once again proving that museums serve as the best place to connect the new generation with the Earth’s ancient heritage.
🔹 The event, which was met with great enthusiasm from students, featured a variety of hands-on workshops organized in collaboration with the Payame Noor University (PNU) Tabas Center:
🎨 Painting Workshop: Children used their brushes to create colorful depictions of the unique nature and regional fossils of Tabas.
📖 Storytelling Session: We took an imaginative journey into the depths of Earth’s history, where students learned stories about how mountains and fossils were formed.
🔬 Scientific Petrology Workshop: The hidden world of rocks viewed through microscopes brought many wonders to the children, where each stone revealed a secret from the Earth’s past.
🔹 Furthermore, with the general public and families taking advantage of the free admission offer, we witnessed a greater realization of the theme “Connecting a Divided World”—a bond forged between the people and the natural treasures of our land.
🔹 We hope that such programs continue to cultivate curiosity and a love for the environment in the hearts of our children.
