✅ Educational Workshop on Protected Areas and Wildlife Species of Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark Held

🔷 On the occasion of World Environment Day, an educational workshop titled “Introduction to the Protected Areas and Wildlife Species of Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark” was held for official tour guides and local guides of the geopark.

🔹 The workshop was organized at the Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark Visitor Center with the aim of enhancing guides’ knowledge and awareness of the region’s natural values, biodiversity, and the importance of protecting wildlife habitats.

🔹 During the program, Eng. Morteza Taghizadeh, the workshop instructor, presented topics related to protected areas, key wildlife species, environmental challenges, and the role of tour guides in promoting and safeguarding the geopark’s natural heritage.

🔹 Participants became familiar with the region’s valuable environmental assets and emphasized the importance of the active involvement of local communities and tourism guides in conserving natural resources and wildlife species.

🔹 Holding this educational workshop on World Environment Day is considered an effective step toward promoting sustainable tourism, increasing environmental awareness, and strengthening the culture of nature conservation within Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark.
