🏆 UNESCO Global Geopark of Tabas Wins First and Second Places in the “Geoparks and You” Competition

The UNESCO Global Geopark of Tabas achieved first and second places in two categories of the international “Geoparks and You” competition: “The Five Senses of a Geopark” and “Earth’s Visual Odyssey.”

👥 In this competition, Adileh Sadat Sajjadi-Pour won first place in the “The Five Senses of a Geopark” category with her work entitled “Let Me Take You on a Journey Through Morteza Ali Spring.”

In addition, Seyed Hamid Haghighi received second place in the “Earth’s Visual Odyssey” category for his photograph depicting a camel caravan in the desert ecosystem of Halvan and the landscape of the Kalmand Highlands.

💬 The National Commission of UNESCO in Iran, while congratulating the competition winners on this achievement, expressed its appreciation to the officials and team members of the UNESCO Global Geopark of Tabas, as well as the local community of the region, for their participation and success in this international competition. The Commission also wished them continued success in their future activities and effective participation in the international arena.
