✅ Clean-up of Golshan Garden Geosite on the Occasion of World Environment Day and Environment Week

🔷 On the occasion of World Environment Day and Environment Week, a clean-up program was held at the Golshan Garden Geosite through the collaboration of the County Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Board, the County Department of Environmental Protection, and the Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark.

🔹 During the program, participants cleaned the area and collected cigarette butts with the aim of promoting environmental awareness, preserving the cleanliness of natural attractions, and encouraging public participation in safeguarding the region’s natural heritage.

🔹 It was also emphasized that littering cigarette butts in nature can harm soil, vegetation, and wildlife, while also negatively affecting the natural landscape of tourist destinations.

🔹 The organizers highlighted the importance of protecting geosites and natural areas and called for the continuation of such initiatives through the cooperation of executive organizations and nature enthusiasts.
