🔷 September 16, 1978; the night when Tabas turned into ruins in the blink of an eye.
A devastating earthquake claimed the lives of more than 15,000 of our fellow citizens and left a deep scar on the heart of Iran.

◼️ This day is a reminder of grief and sorrow, but at the same time, a symbol of the resilience and reconstruction of the people who rebuilt life after that tragedy.

🕯️ Today, we bow our heads in memory of all the victims of the Tabas earthquake and wish lasting peace and security for the city of Tabas and its people.
