✳️Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark, Ezmighan village
🔶️The 2th palm and paddy festival of Ezmighan village was held in the paricipations of families and tourists on a beautiful autumn day.
🔸️Ezmighan village is one of the rare geosites in Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark, which depicts the beautiful combination of rice fields and palm trees in the desert area. This cohabitation has attracted many tourists and visitors from all over Iran and the world. Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark helps to introduce and preserve the cultural and natural values of the region by holding educational workshops and various festivals.
🔸️The performance of village girls’ song group, poetry writing by a country poet, local singing, photo exhibition of palms and rice, photo exhibition of Geopark geosites, off-road vehicles, cooking of local foods, exhibition and bazaar of handicrafts and local products , etc. were among the programs of this festival.
🔸️In this festival, Dr. Amrikazemi (Member of the Supreme Council and official evaluator of UNESCO Global Geoparks Network), Dr. Shibani (Director of Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark), Head of the Islamic City and County Council (Engineer Rastineh), and Mr. Haqqani, Engineer Arab (Head of the Cultural Heritage office, tourism and handicrafts) and other officials were present.
🔸️The 2th palm and paddy festival was held in cooperation with the Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark and the participation of rural government and village council of Ezmighan and other local people.
