🔹 The Persian Cheetah, a Source of Iranian Pride
🔸 Our Responsibility, Its Future
✅ September 1 | National Persian Cheetah Day 🐆
🔹 Today, September 1, is National Persian Cheetah Day—a day to remember the value of one of Iran’s most remarkable and precious wildlife species.
🔸 Over these nine days, we have come to know the cheetah together. We explored its characteristics and remarkable abilities, learned about its habitat and home, reviewed the differences between cheetahs and leopards, and learned about threats such as habitat destruction and road mortality.
🔹 We also learned that protecting the cheetah is not the responsibility of one person or one organization alone. Public participation, responsible behavior, and protecting nature can all play an important role in securing the future of this precious species.
🔸 On the eighth day, we saw how geoparks can strengthen the connection between Earth and life through education, natural heritage conservation, support for research, and responsible and sustainable tourism.
🔺 The cheetah is more than just an animal; it is part of Iran’s living heritage.
🔹 Today, on National Persian Cheetah Day, let us not simply admire the beauty of this remarkable animal. Let us each play our part in ensuring its survival and continued presence in the wild landscapes of Iran.
🔸 The “9 Days to the Cheetah” campaign has come to an end;
but the journey to protect the cheetah has only just begun.
