✅Welcoming the tourists and travelers on the third day of Nowruz from the Kal-e-Jenni geosite

🔹Kal-e-Jenni geosite is a beautiful, amazing, and unique valley located 27 km north of Tabas.

🔹Angular unconformity of Neogene sediments with Quaternary alluviums, hoodoo, honeycomb weathering (Tafoni), various sedimentary structures, river captivity, etc. are an important part of the geological attractions of this amazing valley.
🔹Also, the ancient houses of Gabr (Zoroastrians) – belonging to the Sassanid period – and the aqueduct are among the cultural and historical attractions of Kal-e-Jenni, indicating the knowledge of the predecessors about the type of sediments and valley walls and representing part of unique engineering geology.
