✅ Opening of the Local Market in Korit Village

🔷 The opening ceremony of the local market in Korit Village was held on the evening of October 15 (23 Mehr), on the occasion of National Rural and Nomadic Day and the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zaynab. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Ashrafian, Deputy Governor of South Khorasan Province and Governor of Tabas County; Engineer Koritian, Acting Head of the Central District; Dr. Sheibani, Manager of Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark; and a number of local officials and village residents.

🔹 Featuring a diverse range of handicrafts, local souvenirs, and rural products, the market provides an opportunity to showcase local capabilities, support local artists and producers, and promote small-scale businesses.

🔹 From a geopark perspective, local markets are more than just places to display and sell products. They serve as platforms for showcasing the cultural identity, traditional knowledge, lifestyles, and tourism potential of local communities.

🔹 The opening of this market can be considered a step toward empowering local communities, supporting rural producers, and strengthening the role of tourism in the sustainable development of the region.
