✅ Visit of the Vice Speaker of Parliament and Provincial and County Officials to the Visitor Center of the Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark

🔷 During a visit to Tabas County, Dr. Hajibabaei, Vice Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, accompanied by Engineer Nasiri, Member of Parliament representing Tabas; Engineer Hashemi, Governor of South Khorasan; and Dr. Ashrafian, Deputy Governor and Special Governor of the County, along with other provincial and county officials, visited the Visitor Center of the Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark to review the capacities and programs of this complex.

🔹 During the visit, the Geopark experts presented a report on the area’s activities, geological, tourism, and educational capacities, as well as development plans and measures taken to further promote the Geopark at national and international levels. They also emphasized the important role of the Geopark in sustainable development, local job creation, and attracting domestic and international tourists.

🔹 The visiting delegation toured various sections of the Visitor Center, including information facilities, exhibitions, and services provided to visitors, and stressed their support for the development programs of this complex and for strengthening the region’s tourism infrastructure.
