23 August; Happy Iranian Doctors’ Day and birth anniversary of Ibn Sina (Avicenna).

?️ Ibn Sina, a great Iranian physician, scientist, philosopher, astronomer, writer and mathematician in the 4th and 5th lunar centuries, is one of the most famous and influential figures in Iran and the world, who is especially important due to his works in the fields of philosophy and medicine.

?️There are about 450 titles of his works, the Book of Healing is a comprehensive scientific and philosophical encyclopedia, and the Book of Law, which is about medicine, is among Ibn Sina’s most famous works.

?️Ibn Sina’s name has been registered twice in UNESCO’s list of famous people of science and literature: the 1000th year of the compilation of Avicenna’s Law of Medicine book in 2013-2012 and the 1000th year of his birth in 1980. Also, the “Avicenna Prize for Ethics in Science” was approved in 2003, at the initiative and proposal of Iran, and approved by the UNESCO General Conference.
