Khan Caravansary is located 110 km from Tabas-Yazd old road and has a very unique and beautiful architecture. One of the architectural features of this Caravansary is the spatial body of the Badgir complex and its royal dome, and in the brickwork of its internal facades, flower structures are used, which adds to the beauty of the work (Daneshdust, 1998). Also, on the way to this Caravansary, there are beautiful desert landscapes, Rig-e-Shotoran dune fields, mountainous landscapes of Kalmard region and other geosites of Tabas UNESCO Global Geopark.
Khan Caravansary belongs to the Qajar period, with number 2752 in the Iran National Heritage list and is among the 54 registered Persian Caravansarys in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
