Nakhl & Narges Local Guest House, the first and largest Guest House in Tabas County, is located 15 kilometers south of Tabas (on the Tabas–Deyhuk road), within the historic fabric of the village of Korit. Korit is one of the oldest villages in the Tabas region, and in some historical texts, both Tabas and Korit are referred to as Tabasin. According to many historians and researchers, “Tabasin” refers to the city of Tabas and the village of Korit. The history of Korit dates back over a thousand years.

The village was destroyed in the devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake on September 16, 1978, and today, its historical ruins are visited by tourists as one of the landmarks and reminders of the Tabas earthquake. The historical texture of Korit and the Sepordani cemetery are also considered significant cultural-historical geosites of the Tabas Geopark.

The Nakhl and Narges Local Guest House, which are adjacent to each other, were restored and opened in 2016 and 2018, respectively, within the historical structure of Korit. Nakhl Lodge features 3 suites and 9 rooms, accommodating 2 to 12 guests per room, equipped with heating and cooling systems, bathrooms, balconies, and a peaceful and beautiful courtyard. Additionally, there are 6 restrooms and 6 bathrooms located just 7 meters from the rooms.

Nakhl and Narges Local Guest House also includes 3 suites with heating and cooling, private bathrooms, a beautiful courtyard with views of a Qajar-era water reservoir, and a fire temple, as well as 2 charming traditional rooms. The Narges House comprises three separate rooms, a living area, bathroom, and toilet, with a capacity for 12 people, making it ideal for three families or group tours. The rooftop offers a magnificent view of the water reservoir, the historical village fabric, and the old fortress—making it an excellent spot for stargazing.

Being situated in the old fabric of Korit, the local guest house allows visitors to explore the village, enjoy green farmlands and orchards, and become familiar with the local history, culture, nature, and traditions. Other facilities include a beautiful traditional restaurant with a capacity of about 70 guests, 5 floor seating areas (lamkadeh), a large parking lot, and free internet access.

Nearby attractions include a charming old bathhouse, a historic water reservoir, Sepordani tombs, scenic spots for photography, traditional cuisine, the absence of light and noise pollution, and opportunities to visit narcissus and damask rose farms during harvest seasons. There are also local souvenir shops and pottery and ceramic stores, showcasing crafts made by the villagers—located next to the lodge.
