Tabas GeoHeritage Museum won the “first rank of the province”

According to the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of South Khorasan, during the Nowruz holiday (March 18, 2022 to April 2, 2022), a total of 20083 tourists visited the museums of the province, of which 10,227 were visitors to the museums under Cultural heritage coverage and 9856 visitors to private museums.

Among the museums under the auspices of cultural heritage, the museums of archeology, anthropology and national celebrities of the Akbariyeh Garden of Birjand are ranked first to third, respectively.

Among the six private museums in the province, the Tabas GeoHeritage Museum, the Museum of Traditional Clothing and Textiles and the Puppet Museum were ranked first to third, respectively, in Nowruz 1401.
