Geopark Concepts Workshop and Introduction to Kharv Area Geosites
The importance of geosites and potentials of the region, the role of local community in the protection of geosites, revival of local traditions and culture and the impact of organizing local products on the economic development of the village, etc. were among the most important topics discussed in this workshop.
This workshop was held at the village board with the presence of honorable residents, members of the Kharv Islamic Council, management and geopark experts.
Kharv village area has seven geosites, including;
1- Kal-e-Sardar Geosite
2- Morteza Ali Hot Spring Geosite
3- Geosite of Shah Abbasi Ancient Arch
4- Geosite of Kal-e-Sardar Gabr Houses
5- Shotori Mountains Geosite
6- Meander Geosite
7- Geosite of Senou Forest Habitat
